How support is used

Donations are designed to create more than one kind of impact.

The original Helping the Hardworking model intentionally spends recognition funds with local businesses before those gifts are presented to deserving hard workers.

Recognition gifts

Historically, selected recipients have received $200 bundles made up of gift cards purchased from local businesses.

Local spending

Gift cards, meals, and treats are purchased locally so the recognition itself supports businesses in the community.

Community events

Support can also help fund pop-up moments of appreciation, outreach, and fundraising activities that bring people together.
